Terms and Important Disclosures
Terms of Service
Disclosure version: 2026-10-16-v1
Operational policy draft. Qualified attorney review required, including consent and communications, privacy rights, billing/refunds, liability and review rules; this is not a claim of legal compliance.
Platform role and eligibility
CabinetBids is an independent referral and quote comparison service, not automatically a renovation contractor, retailer or installer. Submit only information and images you are entitled to share, and be truthful about your authority to request the project. Using the platform does not require you to hire anyone.
Concepts, estimates and proposals
AI images are illustrative concepts, not final architectural, engineering, permit or construction plans. They can misrepresent dimensions, materials and feasibility. Any platform ranges are indicative planning information, not contractor bids or binding prices. A professional’s submitted proposal is their representation and may require site measurements and written agreement; CabinetBids does not warrant its accuracy or outcome.
Consent and matching
Requesting shared bids requires the separate sharing permission and selected contact channels displayed in the request form. This is not permission for unrelated marketing, automated calls or prerecorded messages. Matching and response quantities depend on coverage, fit and availability. Partner payments fund the referral service and do not constitute certification.
Independent agreements
Assess credentials, insurance, references, scope, permits and payment terms yourself. The chosen business is responsible for its own products, statements and work under your agreement and applicable law. Platform access is not an escrow service, workmanship warranty or promise to resolve a contractor dispute. Nothing here waives consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Support and policy review
Use Contact for platform concerns, privacy requests or billing questions. Do not send card numbers or passwords. No fixed support response time is currently promised. Contractors should also read Partner Terms.
These operational disclosures are not a substitute for a complete attorney-reviewed agreement. Jurisdiction, dispute processes, liability provisions, age requirements and statutory rights require a qualified attorney’s review before reliance.
